Pawlet Corn Crib

14 X 18 feet | circa 1790 | Pawlet, Vermont

This little frame is adorable! The timbers are beautiful, and it needs a new home. The five sided ridge beam is the highlight of this structure. It was used to dry and preserve the farm bounty on a hill farm.

Details:

  • Boasts a beautiful and petite five sided ridge beam

  • 250 square feet

  • The hewn timbers are beech and pine

Possibilities:

This frame would make an amazing little cabin in the woods or by a lake. A full or partial sleeping loft could be added, and it would look fantastic with a tiny wood stove inside! This corn crib could also be a wonderful garden or potting shed.
