Art from the Garden: Creating Pressed Flower Art with Ellie Roden
In this hands-on workshop, Ellie will introduce ways to turn flowers, leaves, and other plant material into beautiful art. Various tips for successful flower pressing, necessary tools, and materials will be shared, including microwave flower pressing for perfect and immediate results. Participants will then create their own pressed flower art: pieces for framing, cards and/or bookmarks. All materials are provided and no experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and love of flowers!
The workshop cost is $35 per student and includes all materials and your own creation to take home. Maximum number of students is 25, ages 12 and up. RSVP's are required.
