Sunday, June 21st is the summer solstice, and Father’s Day! But did you know that it is also World Music Day? Make Music Vermont is a free, statewide celebration of music on June 21st. Musicians of all levels perform in public spaces from Burlington to Brattleboro to Middletown Springs - joining over 1,000 cities worldwide in the annual Make Music Day tradition.
Green Mountain Timber Frames is excited to host a concert of quintets, with music by the Borderland Winds Woodwind Quintet and the Catamount Brass Quintet. The music is light summer fare and includes a selection of arrangements of traditional tunes, broadway melodies, movie music, rags and marches. Even some Beethoven and Shostakovich. Join us for a delightful musical afternoon.
