About the event
Green Mountain Timber Frames is thrilled to welcome Poet Margaret Draft to the 1797 Reuben Wait Barn as part of our poets and authors series.
Join us on Saturday, March 7 at 7:00 PM as Draft shares selected poems from her collection. The reading will be followed by a reception and book signing. Light refreshments will be provided.
A suggested donation of $15 to the artist is welcome at the door. RSVP's are appreciated but not required.
About the artist
Margaret Draft is a poet based in Bennington, Vermont. Winner of the Vermont Book Award for Poetry in 2025 and Emerging Artist Award in Literature (St. Botolph Club Foundation, 2024), Margaret has also been awarded the Ethel Olin Corbin Prize and fellowships from The Frost Place for their Conference on Poetry. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Poetry Daily, Radar Poetry, Southern Humanities Review, and The Vermont Almanac.…
