Join Nora Woolf from Woolf Den Homestead in an afteroon of creation and learning at the GMTF Reuben Wait Barn. Each participant will have the opportunity to make one small whisk broom and one turkey-wing hand broom and learn about other broom making techniques. RSVP Registration is required. $65/pp

About the event
Nora Woolf of Woolf Den Homestead is a mother, gardener, homesteader, and broom maker! At Woolf Den Homestead, located in Monkton Vermont, Nora and her family share the land with their dogs, cats, sheep, chickens and all the forest and field flora and fauna. They seek opportunities to help people connect with themselves, each other and the land. They do this through offering gatherings, garden design and coaching, and selling crystals, gems and brooms.
As a craftsperson, Nora has always been drawn toward making functional art. A handful of years ago, she came across an opportunity to learn how to make Appalachian style handbrooms. Quickly after making a few handbrooms, she ordered 50 lbs of broom corn and leaned into learning the craft.
