Morning Workshop: Whisk Broom Making

Join Nora for either the morning or afternoon to create your very own hand whisks. In the morning workshop, we will make two brooms together. First, we will learn how to make a “truck broom”, which is a simple small whisk perfect for your glove box or kitchen counter. This will help you grasp the basics of hand broom creation and then after a short snack and tea break, we will create hawk tail hand whisks - a more versatile whisk for daily sweeping.

You will leave this workshop with all the knowledge you need to make more brooms at home including other broom tips, material list and sourcing, and friends to make brooms with! There will be tea, coffee, and snacks provided by Green Mountain Timber Frames for the morning. If you fall in love with broom making, Nora will have some supplies for sale as well.
