Chestnut Timbered Corn Crib
14 X 18 feet | 1778 | Danby, Vermont
This corn crib was located behind the 1778 hand hewn timber log home. The rare six bent frame likely served as a storehouse for food for the Nichols family and their cattle.

Details:
-
500 square feet, option for second floor
-
Rare six bent frame made from Chestnut timbers
-
Restored frame, erected on your foundation with roof boards

Possibilities:
This frame would ideally be restored alongside the hand hewn timber log home above. It offers plenty of room to be used as a bedroom, reading room or outbuilding. While its tapered walls could be straightened, they are more historically accurate and unique in their current form.
